Become A Volunteer

CUTC shows are community theater at its best – over 150 of your family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors spend months planning, rehearsing, and building for each show. Everything onstage, backstage, and under the stage is due to the efforts of these volunteers. Our veteran volunteers are available to train new people in the theater arts. By the end of each season, we anticipate over 800 individuals were part of our productions, and that 15,000 people came to see their efforts.

Volunteers are the backbone of community theatre:

They build and paint the sets that make the background for the performers.

They move the furniture and props that create the scenery.

They make the costumes that help create the characters.

They sell ads for the programs.

They help with hair and make-up.

They help the performers with microphone placement.

They provide activities for child performers between scenes.

And, when it’s all put together, they smile and guide you to your seat.

Join CUTC and take part in whatever of these activities fit your talents, or learn new skills. Meet new people and be a part of the ambience that contributes to our great community. To volunteer for any of the above areas, please contact Mike Galloway at manager@cutc.org.
