For fifteen years, the Champaign Urbana Theatre Company has brought to life such shows as The Music Man, Guys and Dolls, Evita, Fiddler on the Roof, Jesus Christ Superstar, Les Miserables, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.  With the support and influence of hundreds of talented individuals, including actors and actresses of all ages, directors, musicians, board members, technical staff, designers, and volunteers, CU Theatre Company has built a reputation of presenting tremendous, high quality performances.  CU Theatre Company is also working to fulfill its artistic mission of providing opportunities for individuals of all ages and theatrical experience to participate in community theatre in such an historic venue as the Virginia Theatre.

People of all ages from throughout central Illinois attend performances of the CU Theatre Company.  Shows such as Bye Bye Birdie, Oliver!, and Annie, which feature many children on stage, attract even larger audiences comprised of families, friends and distant relatives.

Providing the community with such artistically sophisticated productions is difficult.  Many experienced people donate their time and talents to the Theatre Company so that we can maintain this high level of excellence.  But, talented and dedicated as these people are, financial support is also an integral part of community theatre.

As a Corporate Sponsor for one or more of the productions in our upcoming season, you, too, can become a part of this community activity while gathering positive exposure for your business among a well-established and economically viable audience.

"Presenting" Show Sponsorship, $5,000

  • exclusivity - only one "Presenting Sponsor" per show

  • full-page "premium page" display ad in your show program ($375 value)

  • all radio spots say "CUTC and Corporate Name presents" ($2,500 expenditure)

  • all print ads say "CUTC and Corporate Name presents" ($2,000 media expenditure)

  • show posters say "CUTC and Corporate Name presents" (200 posters distributed)

  • corporate name included in pre-show announcements

  • block of 36 reserved seat tickets to opening night ($612 value)

  • permission to promote your business as a "Presenting Sponsor of XYZ Show"

Platinum Show Sponsorship, $2,500

  • exclusivity in your business category

  • listing in show program as a Platinum Sponsor

  • full-page "premium page" display ad in your show program ($375 value)

  • audio tag in all radio spots say ($2,000 expenditure)

  • corporate name in all newspaper advertising ($1,500 media expenditure)

  • corporate name on show poster (200 posters distributed)

  • corporate name included in pre-show announcements

  • block of 24 reserved seat tickets to opening night ($408 value)

  • permission to promote your business as a "Platinum Sponsor of XYZ Show"

Gold Show Sponsorship, $1,000

  • exclusivity in your business category

  • listing in show program as a Gold Sponsor

  • full-page display ad in your show program ($325 value)

  • corporate name in all newspaper advertising ($1,500 media expenditure)

  • block of 12 reserved seat tickets to opening night ($204 value)

  • permission to promote your business as a "Gold Sponsor of XYZ Show"

Silver Show Sponsorship, $500

  • listing in show program as a Silver Sponsor

  • half-page display ad in your show program ($175 value)
